Year 9 and 10 students participate in an elective program involving a variety of programs listed in the Elective booklet.
Student Resource Schemes
The Student Resource Scheme (SRS) provides parents with a convenient and cost-effective way to obtain/access educational resources that their child needs for school. These resources supplement the school’s resources and enhance students’ learning experience at school.
At Goomeri, Student Resource Schemes are available for:
Instrumental Music (Years 4-10) Hired, $100 per year or Owned Instruments $25 per year
Take Home Student Laptop (Years 9-10), $90 per year
Years 7, 8, 9, 10, $40 per year.
Parent Information Sheets show that the school further subsidizes the Student Resource Scheme so that all students can participate and assist in providing students with the best educational opportunities.
